As an wolf

Edwin was a very lame guy let's say... born in a noble family, he was the 'black sheep'. Always hidden somewhere and never accomplishing anything. One day his mother, tired of him, sent him to battle, with his older brother. His older brother was the opposite of Edwin; brave, sociable, kind... all the featured that made Eddy very jealous. The army would flank the enemy that night, get them by surprise... would have been a success... if Edwin wasn't a chicken. Sold the information for the enemy; by the time his brother and the others got there, the surprise was turned into a trap. "Traitor" was the last word Edwin heard of his brother, as he died in the battlefield. 
Things like these happened all the time, the cowards doing they cowardly things, fucking up the brave and just ones... but this time, something different happened. You see, one of the soldiers, who died... was married... Married with a powerful Witch, who search Edwin as the last thing she did. In revenge, she cursed him, "Hungry and savage, wolves shall devour you. By day and night, forever" 
And it would be like that... if the hate of the man wasn't bigger than curses... if the madness couldn't consume it. And so the curse was broken, twisted and distorced. Edwin wasn't a man anymore... nor an animal. 
The witch wasn't a being, and the woods was haunted.
